URGENT! Help the School in Southern Sudan

Students in Nyongrial, Sudan

As planned, Padang Lutheran Christian Relief has built the Sobat Lutheran Academy in Nyongrial village in Southern Sudan. It is the first permanent school building in the entire area since the end of the civil war. Previously, the students were taught under the shade of fig trees in the dry season. When it rained, the students would often go home.

Now that the Sobat Lutheran Academy is open, PLCR needs your help to keep it running and to purchase the needed school supplies. To ensure that your gift will go to supporting the school, please download this PDF file.

To help purchase school uniforms, please download this PDF file.

Future Planning Projects:

Padang Lutheran Christian Relief (PLCR) is planning to purchase office space in Malakal city that will be operated as a field administrative centre in order to eliminate the rent expenses. In the long run, this move will save much money towards our mission in Southern Sudan. However, PLCR is planning to build the Guest House in Malakal city as funds become available.

Thank you for supporting PLCR through your prayers and contributions!
